TRADITIONS IN
OUR 17TH YEAR
The 2020-21 school year may look di erent, but it has not stopped us from maintaining traditions that are at the core of a Saint Martin student’s experience.
Our Campus Ministry team was hard at work ensuring our Lions were rooted in faith, prayer, and re ection. Our annual Liturgy of the Holy Spirit, broadcast over Zoom, called on the Holy Spirit to be with our incoming freshmen and other new students and sta , as we welcomed them into the Saint Martin community.
The All Saints/All Souls Day Prayer Service was pre- recorded for students to watch in their Theology classes, and the Annual Fall Revival was held both in person and virtually to ensure our entire community could gather together in prayer.
Our President’s Leadership Council also adjusted their traditional events including planning our rst ever Virtual Activities Fair. Students were invited to join di erent Google Meet links to learn more about the clubs and activities Saint Martin o ers. Additionally, our student leaders planned a Virtual Spirit Week with di erent theme days including Twinning Tuesday, Heroes vs. Villains, Throwback Thursday, and a Virtual Pep Rally. The week culminated with a Virtual Homecoming Celebration complete with a Live DJ set, talent show, fashion show, and announcement of Homecoming Court. Although we wish we were celebrating in person, the virtual environment allowed us to celebrate our annual traditions in new and unique ways.
