Message from the President and Board Chair
Chaz Napoli
As we embark on another new year, we continue in our mission of delivering equity through education as we support our students’ journeys to and through college. We believe we are perfectly positioned to assure Saint Martin is THE best high school in Cleveland by elevating our unique ve core pillars of Work, Study, Serve, Lead, and Pray.
Our Corporate Work Study Program has made signi cant enhancements to professional training for all students.
With new focuses in career exposure and exploration, our students are meeting with career professionals from diverse industries and backgrounds, helping them gain exposure to
a wide variety of career paths while understanding practical application of professional skills necessary for success. Thanks to partnerships with Hyland and the Cristo Rey Network, we have been able to deliver application training in OnBase and Microsoft O ce Suite providing students with lifelong, highly desired technical skills. Our Lions are as prepared as they have ever been to enter a professional work environment.
We are excited about the promotion of Adam Tri ro as our
Dominic Perry
new Principal who will lead the school’s continued charge toward academic excellence. Through a focus on increased honors, advanced
placement, and college credit plus classes, we are committed to improving academic performance and rigor and focused on the growth of both our scholars and faculty.
Through a commitment to student leadership and service, Saint Martin aims to increase opportunities for our students to help operate the school while also engaging in our community. As a Catholic institution, we seek to enhance social justice, equity and community through a faith-based lens that establishes that we are all children of the same loving God worthy of the same dignity, respect, right to life, and access to resources.
We are grateful for our caring and family-like culture that has allowed us to support our community in ways we never imagined. With a strong emphasis on personal relationships, we have witnessed teachers supporting students and students supporting teachers through every curveball thrown our way. As a small school, we have been able to quickly pivot in delivering the Saint Martin experience, helping our students stay on track to becoming college-ready and career-prepared young men and women of faith and purpose.
We recognize it has not been easy, but the resilience, ambition, and drive of our students, families, faculty & sta , Corporate Work Study Partners, supporters, and community members over the past year has been a light of hope amid challenging times. May this new year bring us renewed strength, hope and prosperity in the days ahead.
Best Regards,
Chaz Napoli & Dominic Perry
