Saint Martin de Porres High School is training the next generation of computer scientists thanks to their Corporate Work Study Program and expanded partnership with Hyland. All 400 Saint Martin students will receive weekly professional training in OnBase, a single enterprise information platform developed by Hyland.

“We are excited to partner with Saint Martin de Porres to provide students the opportunity to build technical skills and gain exposure to careers in computer science. The new OnBase training program is designed to introduce system administration concepts and skills, and inspire students to explore career possibilities in technology – potentially even at Hyland or within our customer community one day,” said Debbie Connelly, SVP, Chief People Officer, Hyland.

As a member of the national Cristo Rey Network of schools, Saint Martin delivers a powerful and innovative approach to inner-city education. Through the unique Corporate Work Study Program, Saint Martin partners with over 120 local organizations who are committed to diversity, community engagement, and an experienced based education. Students go to work one day a week, earning nearly 1,600 hours of professional experience and a significant portion of their own tuition.

Providing OnBase training to our students will not only expose them to the growing STEM field, but also provide them with technical skills to navigate database systems in any future career.
