Dear Friends of Saint Martin, March 12, 2020
The health and safety of the entire Saint Martin community are of utmost importance to us. As a result, in light of Governor DeWine’s recommendation to cancel or postpone large, indoor gatherings in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are writing to inform you that all Saint Martin events, including school field trips and athletic events, have been canceled through March 31, 2020. These events include:
March 12: Meet & Greet Event
March 13: Senior Carnival Night
March 13: Admissions Interviews/Parent Info Sessions
March 18: Baseball Scrimmage @ John Hay High School
March 19: Kairos Retreat
March 21: Food Bank Pantry
March 25: Capstone Exhibition Night
March 26: Senior Night at the Cavs Game
March 27: Freshman Field Trip Maltz Museum
March 27: Spring Fling

We will continue to follow the recommendations of state and local public health agencies regarding school closures. We encourage the entire Saint Martin community to continue to follow the CDC’s advice for limiting the spread of infectious disease:
-
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. We are prioritizing hand washing and the use of Purell during the school day.
-
Stay home when you are sick. Please be fever-free for at least 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication including Tylenol) before returning to school, or when other symptoms are apparent.
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
-
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
