Dear Friends of Saint Martin,
Over the last few weeks, Saint Martin’s Leadership Team and Board of Directors have been closely monitoring the evolving news about the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our region. In response to Governor Mike DeWine’s statewide orders this afternoon, Saint Martin is canceling all on-campus classes and activities EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL TODAY, MARCH 12 THROUGH MONDAY, APRIL 20. All Corporate Work Study jobs, athletics, events, and co-curricular activities will be suspended at this time.
Online learning will begin Tuesday, March 17 at 10:00 am. Students should check their emails and log into Google Classroom at this time. A video from Mr. Hurley detailing the online learning process can be found here at this link: bit.ly/3aRaMSa. We expect that you will review this video by the end of the day tomorrow, Friday, March 13.
If students did not take their Chromebooks home, Saint Martin will be open on Friday, March 13, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm and Monday, March 16, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm for students to pick up or exchange their device if it is not working. In-person classes will resume on Monday, April 20 unless you are otherwise notified.
While we recognize this decision will cause disruptions in the day-to-day routine for our families, shifting to online learning is the most prudent decision we can make at this time.
Please continue to check our website: www.saintmartincleveland.org and social media: @saintmartincle for future updates. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 in our region during this time, and, if necessary, we will extend our closure as long as needed to support the safety of our community. Please look for further communication in the coming days and weeks.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenging time.
Best regards,
Chaz Napoli
President
