Admissions
Saint Martin invites students into our school community who are committed to academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth. During the admissions process, Saint Martin reviews academic, disciplinary, and attendance records, as well as teacher recommendations.

While we are serious about preparing students for college and career success, we also believe that school should be fun! Caring for the whole student, we believe that involvement in extracurriculars is essential to continuing to form talented, well-rounded, and interesting individuals.

Screening, Recruiting, & Talent Acquisition
Prepare simple digital folders and printed materials for career fairs and HR events.
Organize digital and paper documents using Google Drive or SharePoint.
Assist with new hire communication via prewritten email templates or calls (with supervision).
Maintain basic Excel/Google Sheets to track applicant and hiring progress.
Draft short social media posts for recruitment or company updates using Canva and AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT).
Help collect and sort resumes, and observe how applicant tracking tools are used.
Training & Operations
Assemble onboarding packets using physical handouts and digital PDFs.
Create basic how-to guides or checklists for new hires using Notion or Google Docs.
Help set up rooms and materials for training sessions and HR workshops.
Archive training materials and assist with filing both physically and online.
Attend and support training sessions (in-person or via Zoom/Teams) to gain insight into facilitation.
Employee Relations Management
Post open positions on school boards and job platforms with supervisor help.
Prepare and send birthday or thank-you cards to employees using templates.
Make simple confirmation calls to verify employment or send reminders for paperwork.
Support seasonal tasks like Open Enrollment prep, organizing benefit forms or fliers.
Help track basic employee data (e.g., hire/termination lists) in spreadsheets with clear templates.
Assist with shredding outdated documents or securely uploading files online.
Observe or help with small audits of employee data, guided by staff.
Administrative Duties
Draft basic letters or emails using AI writing assistants (ChatGPT, Grammarly) with review.
Help plan and support events: book rooms, gather supplies, and manage sign-up sheets.
Keep shared calendars up to date and prepare rooms for meetings or interviews.
Enter or update info in simple HR systems or CRM tools with step-by-step instructions.
File W-4s, direct deposit forms, and contracts under supervision.
Use Trello or Google Tasks to stay organized and meet deadlines.
