Providing students of modest economic means with a college preparatory education aimed at helping young men and women develop the habits of mind and spirit that will enable them to be successful in college, in their careers, and in life.

Providing meaningful opportunities for professionals to interact with and mentor students while making a difference in their lives. Over 100 Cleveland-area businesses, firms, and non-profits have partnered with Saint Martin.

Saint Martin invites students into our school community who are committed to academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth. During the admissions process, Saint Martin reviews academic, disciplinary, and attendance records, as well as teacher recommendations.

While we are serious about preparing students for college and career success, we also believe that school should be fun! Caring for the whole student, we believe that involvement in extracurriculars is essential to continuing to form talented, well-rounded, and interesting individuals.

Saint Martin de Porres High School partners with over 130 greater Cleveland businesses to invest in students.

In January 2017, Ohio Governor John Kasich honored Saint Martin de Porres High School along with the Cristo Rey schools in Columbus and Cincinnati with the Governor's Innovation in Education Award. The award states, "Saint Martin de Porres High School in Cleveland provides hands-on work experience for students through a robust work study program that allows each student to gain on-the-job experience to help students find their career passions." It is only through the committed partnership of over 130 Corporate Partners throughout Northeast Ohio and the dedicated employees of those organizations that Saint Martin is able to provide this valuable program for our students. Our Corporate Partners not only recognize the importance of investing in our young people because of the many benefits that are created for our students, but also because of the broader benefits associated with workforce development. This brief 2:30 video illustrates how the program works.
