Important Message Impacting Friday 3/31 and Monday 4/3

Posted March 30, 2023 in Announcements

Dear Saint Martin Community,

As our entire Saint Martin community continues to process and grieve the sudden loss of our Freshman, Enieyla Brantley, we have modified schedules for Friday and Monday as follows:

Friday, March 31st: Students, faculty and staff are not required to be at school. Our building will be open from 9:00am until 2:00pm for support and community but classes and work are canceled. Saint Martin will not offer transportation on Friday, March 31st. All extracurricular activities and games will be canceled for Friday, March 31st.

Monday, April 3rd: Freshmen are not required to be at school and will not report to work; however support staff will be available for any Freshmen who opt to attend school on Monday. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors should attend school on Monday and will have a modified schedule to allow for ongoing support and processing as a community.

Tuesday, April 4th: We plan to resume our regular school and work schedule on Tuesday for all students, with continued support available to students and staff. Any students who feel emotionally unable to come to school should contact our Wellness Team's direct line at 216.881.1689 ext 386 or at info@stmdphs.org.

Let us continue to pray for the Brantley family and for one another during this very difficult time. We will share additional information from the family as it becomes available. Please continue to look out for one another and do not hesitate to reach out with any concerns for yourself or a fellow Lion. We recognize that this is a challenging time for all of us, we cherish each one of you tremendously.

Sincerely,

Chaz Napoli, President
