CWS Partner Feature: Insight2Profit

Corporate Work Study supervisor Chris Jellen at Insight2Profit cannot help but notice how his Saint Martin student, Dorien ‘24, has done more than help Insight2Profit complete work tasks- he has also changed the energy and dynamic of the office. Bringing a fresh perspective and endless enthusiasm, Dorien has reignited connection in the workplace and has redefined what it means to be a coworker.

Thanks to the partnership between Insight2Profit and Saint Martin, Dorien has been exposed to big business software platforms such as SalesForce and NetSuite and has practice in research, development and finance. In fact, Dorien has learned so much that he has been tasked to lead his own projects, such as building a company directory that connects employees across Insight2Profit’s Cleveland, Columbus and Chicago offices. Dorien’s directory allows coworkers to connect via pictures, employee background descriptions, Linkedin profiles and fun facts about each employee to help restore the connection in a workplace transitioning from remote work to in-person collaboration.

Joining the work study program in 2021, Insight2Profit is already proving their commitment to Saint Martin students in big ways. After completing a year of work at Insight2Profit through Saint Martin’s Corporate Work Study Program, the company decided to continue their relationship with Dorien and hire him over the summer to work for pay. His continuity with the company allows his supervisor to expand his project base and continue building on Dorien’s skillset.

Dorien has paved the way for other Saint Martin students to collaborate with Insight2Profit, and strengthened himself as an employee and young adult. However, one of his greatest impacts during his time at Insight2Profit has been how he has forever changed the dynamic of this workspace. While Insight2Profit is one step in Dorien’s career, his footprint has molded his workplace to a place of connection, continuity, and commitment.
