Saint Martin invites students into our school community who are committed to academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth. During the admissions process, Saint Martin reviews academic, disciplinary, and attendance records, as well as teacher recommendations.
While we are serious about preparing students for college and career success, we also believe that school should be fun! Caring for the whole student, we believe that involvement in extracurriculars is essential to continuing to form talented, well-rounded, and interesting individuals.
Entrepreneur, CEO, and educator, Jeanita Blue ‘12, has reached high levels of success which can be attributed to her Saint Martin education. During her time at Saint Martin, she was enrolled in Honors classes, was a member of both the Diversity club and Spanish club, held the position of cheer captain, led retreats, and completed her Corporate Work Study job at Sherwin Williams. All of these experiences opened doors leading her to where she is today.
A highlight of Jeanita’s time at Saint Martin was her Corporate Work Study placement in the IT department at Sherwin Williams, where she worked all four years of high school. Her responsibilities consisted of reimaging computers and phones, upgrading hardware, installing applications and setting up ethernet cables. She continued working at Sherwin Williams even after high school graduation, completing her college internship at the company in the marketing department. Together, these experiences allowed her to discover her passion for the marketing field which she still works in today.
Following Saint Martin, Jeanita continued her education at Baldwin Wallace University, receiving her degree in Communications and Marketing with a focus in International Business in 2016. Today, she has her own business, called Blue International Marketing. She creates marketing and brand strategies for various companies, nonprofits, and corporations in Cleveland and around the world. Her day-to-day responsibilities consist of email campaigns, graphic design, photography, and videography. You can find Jeanita on social media @JeanitaBlue and visit her brand website www.BimBrand.com.
Jeanita is also an educator and somewhat of a student herself. She loves learning and enjoys challenging herself mentally by trying things she never has before. In fact, she recently returned from the Peace Corps where she learned Mandarin and taught international trade and business. She also spends time in her role as a coach at MotoGo, a nonprofit that teaches students how to build motorcycle engines. She even had the chance to coach Saint Martin students on engine builds over the last few months!
Jeanita shares, “Saint Martin gave me the opportunity to see things, try things, make mistakes, and helped me with my perspective and outlook on the world. It nurtured my desire and my curiosity. I want to thank Saint Martin for the connections, friendships, teaching me I can be a boss, lead my trail, and pave my way in this world.”
