Aero Fluid Products: Meet Gabe Rosa '21

You would be hard pressed to find a company more successful in the aerospace market than Painesville’s own Aero Fluid Products. For over 5 decades Aero Fluid has designed and manufactured engineered products that satisfy the rigorous requirements of the aerospace industry. Tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood, just across the street from Lake Erie College, you will find a treasure trove of flight products to service the aerospace industry everywhere. It’s a flight lover’s dream!

It is here that you will find Saint Martin student Gabe Rosa ’21 performing a myriad of tasks to help keep Aero Fluid running smoothly. No two days are ever the same for Gabe as he can be found bagging airplane parts and sending them out to customers, scanning, filing, and helping out in other departments who love his work ethic. “Gabe gets things done, I never have to worry about him completing a project and I love that,” says Ed Riess, Aero Fluid Products Materials Manager. “When I give Gabe a job, more likely than not when I come back to see how he’s doing, he’s done! It’s amazing and refreshing.”

The sophomore, who is a talented artist and spends his time playing soccer and baseball for the Lions, is appreciative of his job at Aero Fluid. “I enjoy being here, I think I now communicate more because of my co-workers,” he said. “I used to be bashful, but now talking to others is not a problem at all.”

It’s because of students like Gabe that Riess is such a huge fan of Saint Martin and the Corporate Work Study Program, “Saint Martin students are all courteous, well mannered, professional and reliable” he said. “The work study program is a very positive way to be involved with kids who may one day be our future employees. These kids have chosen to do something positive in their life by going to Saint Martin. We have the capability and the resources to affect their lives, to make a positive influence in their lives and there is nothing better.”

The Corporate Work Study Program is proud to have over 120 partners around the Cleveland region and is always looking to add more. If you would like to get involved with a truly unique program that sets Saint Martin apart from other schools, just visit our CWSP page here.
