Welcome to my homepage at Saint Martin de Porres High School. My name is Pete Range and I teach ninth grade Theology. I am a 2004 graduate of John Carroll University and am currently working on my Masters in Theology from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. This is my third year at Saint Martin and my second year teaching. My first year I was a volunteer and worked partly as the admissions director.

I am truly blessed to find myself here at Saint Martin; it challenges students, it challenges the adults, and it challenges the city of Cleveland. Saint Martin is more then a school to many of us, it is a second home.

As a Roman Catholic High School I teach Theology from the perspective as believing I am a part of the Church that Christ came to found on earth (Matthew 16),  but I also firmly believe that as Christians we spend far too much time fighting over issues which keep us seperate when there is real evil to be fought in the world. So I pray, as Jesus did, that we all be one (John 17). The fact that most of the students here are not Catholic, and many still questioning, and wondering about God makes for an enriching classroom experience. All ideas and thoughts are respected; all that is required is that we remain open to others beliefs.
