Ms. Maria Vanadia

Welcome to Read 180!!

Ms.  Vanadia is a Title I - Basic Skills Teacher from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD).  She  has been assigned to St. Martin de Porres for the 2007 – 2008 school year.  Ms. Vanadia is a graduate of  The Ohio State University with a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering.  She also holds an MA in Education from Baldwin Wallace College.  Ms. Vanadia has been employed by CMSD for the past six years.  She began her teaching career at Douglas MacArthur Year Round School, where she worked as a reading teacher for 3 years.  Last year, she taught Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies to 7th and 8th grade students at Walton School.  Ms. Vanadia is very excited to be teaching Read 180 at St. Martin de Porres this school year.  She believes that it’s an honor and a privilege to be able to work with the fine students and staff at this great school!

Sweetest Lord, make me appreciative of the dignity of my high vocation, and its many responsibilities. Never permit me to disgrace it by giving way to coldness, unkindness, or impatience.
